CliffDweller.net is an independently maintained neighborhood event calendar. These terms explain how you may use the site and how optional support payments work. Contact us at jeremy@cliffdweller.net with questions.

Check with the organizer

Event details can change. Confirm dates, location, accessibility, age limits, prices, and registration requirements with the linked organizer or venue before attending. Listings do not guarantee admission or that an event will take place. Saving an event is not a ticket, reservation, or registration.

Organizers, venues, ticket sellers, and other linked services are independent of CliffDweller. Their events, purchases, and websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A listing or link is not an endorsement or a promise about an event's quality, suitability, accessibility, or safety.

Use of the service

Use your own account and do not attempt to access another person’s saved events, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. Authentication and hosting providers apply their own service terms. Administrative tools are restricted to authorized administrators.

Public browsing does not require a CliffDweller account. Account features depend on our sign-in providers. Keep control of your sign-in methods and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.

Suggestions and corrections

Submit only information and images you have permission to share. By sending a suggestion, you allow us to review it and use the event facts and any material you authorize for a public listing. We may edit for clarity, verify details, decline a suggestion, or remove a listing. Submitting or supporting the site does not guarantee publication, promotion, or a particular review time. Private account information and privately uploaded flyers are handled as described in our privacy policy.

Availability and expectations

We work to make the calendar useful, but provide it on an as-available basis. We do not promise complete event coverage, error-free information, uninterrupted access, specific response times, particular features, or continued operation. Features, listings, and availability may change. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no additional warranty or service-level commitment is offered.

Optional support

A tip or monthly contribution is voluntary financial support for maintaining CliffDweller. It is not a purchase of event admission, membership benefits, advertising, a promised product or service, or a guaranteed level of service. It creates no entitlement to particular listings, features, access, editorial influence, support response times, or future operation. We do not promise rewards or perks in exchange for support. These statements do not remove the payment and cancellation obligations described below or any rights you have under applicable law.

One-time support: Stripe charges the amount you choose once. A one-time tip does not start a subscription.

If you optionally provide a mailing address, we may send a personal thank-you or occasional swag, such as a sticker. These are discretionary gestures, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed products, rewards, or consideration for your contribution. Leaving an address does not create a fulfillment deadline or an entitlement to an item.

Monthly support: Stripe charges the selected amount when you subscribe and automatically each month after that until you cancel. The available options are $5, $10, or $25 USD per month. Checkout shows the amount and frequency before you confirm. You authorize those recurring charges by completing the subscription checkout. No minimum number of months is required.

Manage your amount: Account-linked monthly support can be changed among $5, $10, and $25 per month in Account settings when available. The selected amount applies at the next renewal, without an extra mid-cycle charge or refund. The confirmation button shows the new recurring amount. If your support was started through an unlinked Payment Link, use Stripe's email-verifying management page.

Cancel any time: Use Manage monthly support on the support page or in Account settings to open Stripe's customer portal. For account-linked support, sign in to CliffDweller first; for other contributions, sign in to Stripe with the email used for payment and select cancellation. You do not need to contact us to cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancel before your next renewal to prevent that next charge. Deleting your CliffDweller account does not itself cancel a Stripe subscription; manage your subscription separately.

Payment questions and refunds: Canceling future renewals does not automatically refund a charge already made. If a payment was mistaken, duplicated, unauthorized, or otherwise needs review, contact jeremy@cliffdweller.net. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain in place.

Stripe processes payments and provides billing records and subscription management. You may be asked to verify your payment email even when signed in to CliffDweller. A contribution is not offered as a charitable donation with a charitable tax receipt. Supporter names and business names are collected for payment administration; contributing does not authorize us to publish your name or business as an endorsement.

Changes and your rights

We may update these terms as the site changes and will show the updated date on this page. Checkout requires acceptance of the terms shown before you pay. A change to this page does not itself authorize a new charge or a higher recurring amount. Nothing here excludes rights, remedies, or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
